“One more match?” James and Theo make sad puppy dog faces at you as the three of you sit close together on the couch at your apartment. “Alright, but we should probably call it soon. I’ve got exams this week.” You stretch and yawn to illustrate your point, but Theo has already started up a new match. “New rule: loser has to strip, one piece of clothing per loss. Got it?” Theo says with a devilish grin. “Oh, you’re on, man!” James says with a laugh, shoving Theo playfully and making him drop into second place. “No fair, I always lose!” you protest, standing up in front of the TV so they can’t see the screen. “It’s not our fault you suck,” James teases, leaning across the couch in order to see the game. “Shut up and play,” Theo says, biting his lip as he focuses on the match with intense concentration. As the match ends, Theo is once again in first place. You are in last place, as usual. Theo jumps up and pumps his fist in the air in drunken excitement. “Pay up. And socks don’t count.” Their eyes follow your every move as you roll your eyes and shirk off your t-shirt. “There. You happy?” James nods slowly and Theo gulps. “One more round?”
