*I slip out of my moldy apartment quietly, determined but apprehensive. I walk in the dirty streets of Manchester, Kentucky, heading for the small alley near my apartment. The air is cool and my flimsy blue dress doesn't do much to protect me. I try to stay steady on the cheap high heels I found in a dumpster last week. As I reach the small, dark alley, I stand underneath the dim lamppost, adjust my dress, and try to strike a provocative and alluring pose as best I can.
